Uphold Wallet is a multi-asset digital wallet that lets you store, send, receive, and trade hundreds of assets. Access it by visiting uphold.com and using your Uphold Login credentials. After logging in, you’ll see your dashboard with all balances, transaction history, and trading tools. The mobile app offers the same functionality with biometric login for faster access.

Uphold employs institutional-grade security: 256-bit encryption, 2FA (SMS or authenticator app), cold storage for 90%+ of assets, and regular third-party audits. We are SOC 2 Type II certified and maintain a 1:1 reserve for all user funds. Your private keys are never shared, and login attempts are monitored 24/7 for suspicious activity.

Yes. Use the “Forgot Password?” link on the login page to reset via email. If you lose access to 2FA, contact support with identity verification documents. We recommend backing up your 2FA recovery code during setup. Never share your login details or recovery phrases with anyone—Uphold staff will never ask for them.

Yes! Stake assets like Ethereum, Cardano, Solana, and more directly in your Uphold Wallet to earn up to 16% APY. Interest is paid daily and compounded automatically. Simply go to the “Earn” tab after login, select your asset, and start staking with one click—no lock-up periods on most assets.

Deposits: Use bank transfer (ACH/SEPA), credit/debit card, or crypto transfer. Fiat deposits are free; card deposits have a small fee. Withdrawals: Send crypto to external wallets or withdraw fiat to your bank. All withdrawals require 2FA confirmation. Processing times: crypto (minutes), fiat (1–3 business days).

No minimum balance is required to maintain an account. However, some transactions (like card purchases or staking) may have small minimums starting at $1 equivalent. You can hold even tiny fractions of assets (e.g., 0.0001 BTC) thanks to full fractional support.

Basic access is available with email registration, but to deposit, trade, or withdraw, you must complete KYC verification. This includes ID upload and address confirmation. Verification typically takes 1–5 minutes and is required for compliance with global regulations.

Your funds are held in segregated accounts and are 100% reserved. In the unlikely event of platform downtime, your assets remain safe. You can still access crypto private keys via export (for supported assets) or recover funds through our insured custody partners. We maintain 24/7 uptime monitoring with 99.9% availability.

After your first login, go to Settings > Security. Select “Enable Two-Factor Authentication,” scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy, and save your backup code. 2FA will be required on all future logins and sensitive actions like withdrawals.
